40th Anniversary

2010 marks the 40th anniversary of the founding of the Amherst Island Fire Department. The department was amalgamated in 1998 along with the Bath and Ernestown Fire Departments to become part of the new Loyalist Township Emergency Services. Members of LTES Amherst Island Station wish to invite all past AIFD & LTES members to join us for a Pub Night at the Lodge on Amherst Island on November 20th, 2010 at 9;00 p.m. following the Parade of Lights.

Parade of Lights

AIESA will be hosting the Parade of Lights on November 20th, 2010. This year's parade marks a return after a three year hiatus. The parade will begin from St. Alban's Church and end at the Amherst Island Community Centre. Unlike previous years there will be no bonfire following the parade, however AIESA is planning a small event inside the Community Centre following the parade for the kids.
