Hi everyone:
Just wanted to let you know that Vicki and I will be doing an interview on K Rock 105.7 on Monday Morning August 25th at 8:00 AM. K Rock has been a huge supporter of the Y Knot Marathon. The owner of the station, John Wright, was the kind man who donated $1,000 plus donated the Island Belle for people to come out at the end of my swim. K Rock played a major role in getting the 2,000 people to the Confederation Basin to see me come in. This interview gives us the opportunity to thank K Rock for the great promotion and to thank all of K Rock's listeners for coming to the park for my arrival.
Vicki and I are working with two YMCA board members on a Y Knot Marathon celebration. We will keep you posted on the details as they unfold. At this point the swims have raised $35,000 with contributions still coming in. I would dearly love to make the $50,000 mark by mid September and I believe that we can do it.
