Amherst Island Ferry Service
A regular car ferry service links Amherst Island with the village of Millhaven in Loyalist Township, 3 km north on the Ontario mainland. Millhaven is 22 km (13 mi) west of the city of Kingston via Highway 33, the scenic 'Loyalist Parkway'. Millhaven also has a direct connection with Highway 401
[Interchange #593] 10 km (6 mi) north of the ferry. (Driving time: 2.5 hrs west to Toronto; 3 hrs east to Montreal;
2.5 hrs north to Ottawa via 416).
Frontenac II leaving Stella The ferry runs on an hourly schedule from 6:00 am to 1:30 am. It leaves Millhaven thirty minutes past the hour and Stella (Amherst Island) on the hour. Please note that as of May 1st, 2007 the fares have increased as follows:
